Bobby was playing in the backyard while his mom worked in the kitchen.

Feeling bored, he called out,

"Mom! The swing is breaking!"

She rushed over — but the swing was fine.

Bobby just giggled.

A few minutes later, he shouted,

"The fort is falling!"

Again, his mom came running — and again, it was just a joke.

But when the rope ladder really did snap and Bobby fell into the grass, he called for help — and no one came.

Bobby had to look all over the house to find his mom to put a band aid on his bleeding finger.
