"You should always ride your scooter in a straight line, nice and smooth!" said Mom as she watched her son zigzagging down the sidewalk.

"Show me how!" said her son.

So Mom climbed onto his tiny scooter, wobbled wildly, and tipped straight into the bushes.

"Maybe," she said, pulling leaves out of her hair, "you’re doing just fine after all."
