Bobby was watching the playground one afternoon while the teacher finished setting up a game.

Feeling bored, he decided to have a little fun.

"Help! The swing is breaking!" he shouted.

The teacher came running — but everything was fine. Bobby just laughed.

A few minutes later, Bobby shouted again, "The jungle gym is falling!"

Again, the teacher rushed over — and again, it was a trick.

But when the old swing really did snap and a little girl got tangled up, Bobby cried out for help —

and nobody hurried, thinking it was just another trick.

By the time the teacher arrived, the girl was scared and crying.

Bobby felt awful.
