At the grocery store lobby, a little girl played the grabber machine.

She won a small candy.

"I want another chance!" she cried, disappointed.

Her mom smiled, and said, “if I can eat that candy, you can have my last coin.”

The girl tried again — but the claw swung wide and came back empty.

She walked away with no candy at all.
